Julie Lund and Debbie Kubota have a friendship spanning more than 25 years and have always dreamed of owning their own business. Ergo@Work Hawaii is their dream come true.

Julie Lund, HFS...became invested in Injury Prevention and Ergonomics over 25 years ago when she started visiting the workplaces of her injured occupational therapy patients after their return to work. Seeing the need to educate employers and employees regarding the prevention of injury, she shifted her focus to injury prevention and ergonomic consulting. She has been the guest speaker for numerous professional and civic groups in Hawaii and on the Mainland. She is passionate about meeting new people, travel, and keeping some form of exercise in the mix of life.

Debbie Kubota, AOEAS, CEAS III... has extensive clinical and administrative experience in rehabilitation services both in the private fee-for-service and health maintenance organization settings. She has worked as a physical therapist across the healthcare continuum. She recently received certification as an Advanced Office Ergonomics Assessment Specialist and Certified Ergonomics Assessment Specialist III and looks forward to applying these skills. She was born and raised in CA, but has made Hawaii her home for 30+ years. Her family is her focus. She enjoys the outdoors, traveling to both new and familiar places, Japanese taiko drumming and numerous church activities.
